Audited Supplier Dicyandiamine, abbreviated DICY or DCD. It is an organic compound with the chemical formula C2H4N4, which is a dimer of cyanamide and a cyanide derivative of guanidine. Chemical formula C2H4N4. White crystalline powder. Soluble in water, alcohol, ethylene glycol and dimethylformamide, almost insoluble in ether and benzene. Stable when dry.
Use
1.Test cobalt, nickel, copper and palladium. Organic synthesis. Hardener. Detergent. Vulcanization accelerator. Resin synthesis.
2.Used as a latent curing agent of epoxy resin adhesive, the formulation of a single component epoxy adhesive, only when the particle size of diamine is less than 5μm(2500 mesh), can form a suspension in the epoxy resin, without precipitating. The reference dosage is 4 ~ 12 parts, and the application period of 100g epoxy resin composition is 6 ~ 12 months. The storage period of dicyandiamine is less than 2 months when the dosage is 17 parts, and the storage period can reach half a year when the dosage is 8 parts. The curing conditions are 170ºC/lh or 180ºC/20min, and the thermal deformation temperature is 125ºC. Also used as a hardener for one component aqueous epoxy adhesives. Reference dosage 7 copies. The combination system of dicyandiamine (5 ~ 6 parts) and hydrazide (3 ~ 4 parts) can cure epoxy resin at 120ºC/45min.
3.As guanidine salt, melamine diamines raw materials
4.Various guanidine salts can be produced by reacting dicyandiamide with acid. The reaction of dicyandiamide and phenylnitrile to phenylmelamine diamine is an intermediate in coatings, laminates and molding powders.
5.Used as dye fixing agent
6.Dicyandiamide resin prepared by reaction of dicyandiamide and formaldehyde can be used as dye fixing agent.
7.Dicyandiamide fertilizer
8.Dicyandiamide compound fertilizer can control the activity of nitrifying bacteria, adjust the conversion rate of nitrogen fertilizer in soil, reduce the loss of nitrogen, and improve the efficiency of fertilizer use.
